Evrard Chaussoy: Dust of Dreams

A native of Ra’iātea, the sacred island, Evrard Chaussoy is a painter and sculptor whose work is a vibrant tribute to Polynesian heritage.

Through his “Poussière des Rêves” collection, he captures the essence of Fenua (the land) with striking chromatic intensity and textural depth. His approach draws upon the elements—earth, sand, wood, fire, water, and air—as living materials. His acrylic paintings, infused with sand from the lagoons of Ra’iātea, and his sculptures made of charred Maru Maru wood reflect a deep integration of the island’s materials, where memory, identity, and territory remain inseparable. A laureate of the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris, he lives and works between Tahiti and Paris. His paintings and sculptures, arranged throughout your tasting experience, tell the story of a proud Polynesia, bridging ancestral traditions and a contemporary perspective.

“Terra” by Juliette Dumas

Beyond the cycles and seasons, Atica is home to an enduring presence. Embedded in the very soul of our architecture, the monumental work “Terra” is a fresco created by artist Juliette Dumas.

Presented by Clara Darrason, this dish was conceived as a spiritual anchor created for Atica. It invites our guests to reconnect with the fundamental elements of earth and matter before setting off on a journey to the distant horizons of our menu.
